During an immigration petition or case, clients too often feel like the entire process is out of their control. And there is a great deal riding on it, whether it’s a job, a marriage, an investment, or a company’s ability to hire and keep the people it depends on.
Divij Kishore founded Flagship Law to change that. He built the firm on the conviction that every case deserves strategic thinking and personal attention, whether it’s a routine family petition or a multimillion-dollar investor filing.
Today, from the firm’s Manhattan office, his practice handles the full range of immigration law. That includes family-based petitions and K-1 fiancé visas, extraordinary ability cases like the O-1, EB-1A, and national interest waiver, and investor cases through the EB-5 and E-2.
With a background in federal litigation and commercial disputes, Divij carefully considers all aspects of a case so that clients have a clear path towards their goals. He offers a rare breadth of knowledge across the full spectrum of immigration law, with a deep understanding of how every element of a case impacts the others.
Divij came to immigration law having spent the early part of his legal career on complex commercial disputes for large corporations. These cases were high-stakes, document-heavy, and often adversarial. He earned his law degree at NALSAR in India, then an LL.M. at New York University School of Law in international business regulation, litigation, and arbitration.
Divij is recognized by Best Lawyers as One to Watch in Immigration Law (2024-2026) and named to Forbes’ Top Immigration Lawyers. He was also recognized in 2026 as Top 25 Rising Stars by EB-5 Investors.
He’s a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar, and he’s fluent in English and Hindi.
He also speaks regularly on the broader immigration and investment landscape, including on panels for the California Lawyers Association and the EB-5 and Global Immigration Expo, and as a guest on immigration and legal podcasts.

As the landscape changes, Flagship Law takes a thoughtful, deliberate approach to understanding legal developments and adjusting clients strategies as appropriate.
The current immigration environment has shaped how the firm approaches its clients’ needs. Every filing is created with today’s scrutiny in mind, and clients hear where they stand early, before a small problem becomes a denial.
Flagship Law takes a comprehensive approach to every matter, integrating broader commercial and personal objectives into a tailored immigration strategy.
